I’m pretty down with Fuck Buttons’ debut record Street Horrrsing. Basically, it’s two British dudes bringing the ruckus/noise on some interesting electronic equipment that includes toys, shitty keyboards and mics ran through numerous distortion pedals. Add in some of the heaviest guitar sounds possible and you have some shit I can get into. It’s kinda like Mogwai meets Dan Deacon. The song “bright tomorrow” makes some other post-rock bands look foolish.

Their myspace page has a couple, including the afformentioned gem, on it. It’s myspace.com/fuckbuttons. I tried for a good 20 minutes to make a link. I got it to work, but then it didn’t work. Oh well.

If you don’t know who Russian Circles is, make yourself familiar. They’re a great band.

For fans of Explosions in the Sky, Red Sparowes, Isis, etc.

None of us, except maybe Dallas, are card carrying members of the NRA. These attitudes are fake, but the guns are all real.

It’s a bit of an annoyance now almost having to hear or read about how terrible the economy is doing, just a reminder of how terrible everything is right now. I saw this on Yahoo! today, figured I’d share.
